6-Month Mentorship Program
Mentorship should be a community resource.
But in the current capitalist landscape, mentorship has been relegated to LinkedIn connections and forcible networking — not learning to create accountability structures for ourselves and others. In this corporatized environment, many relationships are hierarchical — either with superiors or subordinates. That means that appealing to mentors with tough problems and political challenges can have real costs in our personal and professional trajectories. We only learn to build “accountability” with those who have power over us, or those we have power over. This leaves many activists, community leaders, and movement workers feeling isolated and stuck, unable to make meaningful change a reality.
This 6-month mentorship program for movers and movement guides is designed to give you the intellectual and emotional support to help you move toward more connection, with yourself and your values — but also with your organizing partners and communities. I will serve as a thought partner and peer mentor to help you actualize your values and integrity through concrete actions.
By openly exploring your ideas, and the space between your values and your actions, you can gain the clarity of purpose and conviction that you need to put your principles into practice. You won’t be expected to be the one who already has all the answers, and can instead delve into your open questions and address your fears and doubts. Experiencing peer mentorship and horizontal accountability will help you break out of a cycle of domination-based relationships and allow you to learn how to hold space for yourself and others in alignment with your political values.

Program Snapshot
How Does It Work?
Over 6 months from January – June 2026, we will meet 2 times per month virtually over Zoom for a total of 12 sessions. Your first and last sessions will be 90 minute goal-setting and reflection sessions, while each session in between will be 60 minutes. This cadence will allow you to have a week in between each session to integrate your learning and start putting your plans into motion. During periods between sessions, you will always have access to me through messaging and email for any support you need or questions you have pertaining to our work together.
Our first session will lay the groundwork for the type of action you plan to take during this 6 month experience—we'll determine what questions you need to answer and start to map the resources you will need to collect.
During regular program sessions, we'll touch base about how you have been able to put your values into practice, any challenges and conflicts you are experiencing, and how you can build systems of collaboration and support to make your work sustainable for the long-term. I will provide you with curated readings and resources, but also serve as a sounding board for your ideas and concerns.
Our final session at the end of our 6 months together will create space for synthesis and reflection, and set the stage for how you can continue your valuable work going forward. You will also have the option of extending our mentorship relationship for additional sessions if that serves you, and will be invited to regular drop-in hours and virtual platforms to connect with others doing this work.
After the program, you will be invited to regular alumni connection calls and have the opportunity to build community with others who can continue holding you in peer relationship
Since this experience is tailored to your needs, there is no one-size-fits-all outcome you should expect at the end of our time together. BUT! You should expect to experience a felt sense of support and connectivity throughout our time together, and should expect to leave this container feeling more resourced than when you arrived. Ultimately this experiential learning in mentorship is, I hope, what will lead to more mentorship arising in community and not only in coopted systems of professionalization. Who is This Offering for?
This intensive is ideal for movers and movement guides who already have some experience realizing their values and principles in advocacy work or in their own practice. People who have decision-making authority or leadership responsibilities within communities, organizations, or their own business will particularly benefit from this mentorship space, which is designed to hold the organizational and relational complexity that naturally arises with any political work.
Ideal participants are those who already have concrete visions of the type of political and social work they intend to do, and some experience doing it, but who need additional guidance and accountability to realize their visions for change.
Who is this not for?
This mentorship program is not intended as a substitute for, nor is it, individual psychotherapy. We'll certainly touch on your physical and emotional experience of the political forces shaping our world, but if you're looking for deeper work on psychosocial dynamics and emotional pathways, this offering is not going to satisfy your needs.
This mentorship is also not for those who are just beginning their journey into political and social accountability work, and who need to first do some foundational work reading, listening, and exploring preexisting resources about how change happens. If this is your starting place, don't worry! You are welcome in my 10-week intensive offering, or in my mini-mentorship or single-session offerings, to get your bearings and start your work.
This mentorship is also not for those who are interested in doing "business as usual." Doing political and social justice work requires challenging dominant paradigms, and that includes how we structure our movements, organizations, and commitments. This program is most appropriate for people who are serious about restructuring their relationship to how change work happens.
What is the Cost?
The full cost of this offering is $5500 for the full 6 months, which can be paid all at once or in installments with no interest.
I value economic access and community support to create it. If 12 individuals enroll at the program's full rate, I will be able to provide 5 additional spots at $4125 (75%) and 3 additional spots at $2750 (50%). These reduced-rate spots are not means-tested — they're offered on an honor system. If you would benefit from a reduction in cost, please indicate that on your application.
How do I sign up?
Does this mentorship sound like the accountability container you need to put your political commitments and personal values into practice? Enrollment opens July 1st. At that time, you’ll be able to fill out an application and schedule an intake call to make sure the program is a good fit for your needs.
In the meantime, sign up for updates and to get a reminder when enrollment opens!
